The Urhobo Youth Democratic Movement, UYDM, has lashed the ex-commissioner of Information and Culture, Health as well as Chief of Staff, Government House, Asaba, Dr. Festus Okubor for leveling unsubstantiated corrupt allegations against the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Delta state.

The group had asked Festus Okubor to render an unreserved apology to Omo-Agege for his reckless and derogatory public utterances aimed at discrediting the APC governorship candidate in the state.

This was disclosed in a statement by its coordinator Deacon Monday Enudi which was sent to a Congress correspondent on Saturday.

The group asserted that Omo-Agege was one of the prudent and corruption-free public servants that had ever served Delta state, adding that those who are interested should go and verify.

He described Okubor as one of those attention seekers and gold diggers who say anything to get something for the stomach.

Enudi reiterated that Okubor’s lies peddled against Omo-Agege would not change the tsunami that is awaiting the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2023 general elections.

The group described Okubor to have been speaking for his stomach and paying his bills, adding that Okubor is less significant in Delta state politics.

He, however, urged the good people of Delta state to disregard lies peddled against Omo-Agege and vote out PDP misrule in the state.
