Ondo deputy governor Aiyedatiwa to be sworn in as Ondo Governor

The Ondo State deputy Lucky Aiyedatiwa is to be sworn in as the substantive executive Governor of the State following Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s death.

It was gathered at press time that Aiyedatiwa had arrived at the Governor’s Office for his swearing-in-ceremony in Akure, Ondo State Capital.

Akeredolu died at age 67 in Germany in the early hours of Wednesday.

It would be recalled that on December 12, the late governor handed over power to Aiyedatiwa after he embarked on another medical leave.
