Eid-Kabir: Terrorists Planning To Attack Recreational Centres – DSS

In preparation for the 2023 Eid-Kabir, the Department of State Service, DSS has warned Nigerians of planned attacks by terrorists during the Eid-Kabir celebration.

A statement signed by Peter Afunanya, the spokesperson of the service, urged Nigerians to be on alert.

The recovery of Improvised Explosive Devices by the service from terrorists in joint operations points to the planned attack.

The service called on operators and patrons of public places including markets, malls, etc, to be watchful and report any suspicious movements and persons to the relevant security agencies.

The service pledged to continue to partner with sister agencies for necessary proactive drills to frustrate criminals and their activities.

During the joint operations by the military personnel, a gang leader identified as Kabir Bala was killed in a gun duel in Kogi.
