Former Presidential Amnesty coordinator Professor Charles Dokubo reportedly died in an undisclosed hospital on Wednesday in Abuja.

It was learnt he fell ill and was admitted in the Abuja hospital where he gave up the ghost on Wednesday night.

Sources said Dokubo died at the age of 70 years following a brief illness.

A stakeholder in the Niger Delta region, Mr. Alabo Tammy who spoke to Naija Tv, added that his corpse had been deposited at the mortuary.

“I just got a confirmation now from his cousin. It’s true. His corpse was just deposited at the mortuary. May his departed soul Rest in the bossom of the Lord. There is nothing in this life we dey kill ourselves for. All the wealth and professorship gone. All the petitions and charges against him gone. We are all from dust and will go back to dust. As we live…we should NOTE that what will carry us and our names on is the good legacy and kindness to humanity we leave behind,” he added.
