Ezekiel congratulates Tompolo on conferment of Honourary Doctorate Degree by Nigeria Maritime University

A Niger Delta rights chief, Comrade Ezekiel Daniel has felicitated High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo who received a Honourary Doctorate Degree from Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta on November 25, 2023 during this year’s convocation.

This was contained in a statement which he signed personally and sent to Congress correspondent on Monday morning.

Ezekiel who thanked the University authorities for finding Tompolo worthy for the Honourary Doctorate Degree Conferment said the Conferment is a reflection of the exceptional contributions of Tompolo for the Nigeria Maritime University Okerenkoko and Niger Delta Emancipation struggle.

The human rights warlord, said Niger Nigeria Maritime University Okerenkoko Delta State wouldn’t be in view if not for the Tompolo’s personal sacrifices.

He said the Honourary Doctorate Degree Conferment on Tompolo was overdue following the consistent support and contributions toward improving things in the varsity.

The statement reads, “the Honourary Doctorate Degree Conferment will strengthen and encourage Tompolo to continue his support for the university as this could be seen as an appreciation for all his efforts and contributions.

He further said the Honourary Doctorate Degree Conferment wasn’t come to Tompolo on a platter of gold but he earned it by hard work, dedication, commitment and perseverance.

Ezekiel advised Tompolo to continue his good works for humanity despite betrayal, blackmails and persecution by enemies of progress.

He said despite the persecution, Tompolo should know that a good number of youths and stakeholders are still behind him to propagate his good works, adding that he should remained focus and forget about the few betrayers.
