The leadership of the Amnesty Delegates Forum has called on all aggrieved amnesty leaders and delegates to direct their grievances to the number one leader and custodian of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo a.k.a Tompolo, for a roundtable meeting.

In a statement by Gen Godstime Ogidigba, chairman of Third Phase of the presidential amnesty programme, added that dialogue with Tompolo will provide an avenue for all issues to be addressed and resolved amicably in the interest of peace and security, which should be placed above personal interests.

The forum also appealed to Niger Delta youths to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding. It stressed that violent protests and propaganda are not the solution. Rather, constructive engagement and dialogue among leaders and stakeholders remain the best path to resolving pending issues.

Furthermore, the chairman urged traditional rulers, religious leaders, opinion leaders, political leaders, community heads, youth leaders, and women leaders to rally support for High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo a.k.a Tompolo to ensure that outstanding issues are resolved and the prevailing peace, stability, and security in the Niger Delta region are sustained.
