Ezekiel Lauds Gov Obaseki For Laudable Projects In Edo Riverine Communities

The spokesman for the Coalition of Riverine Communities of Edo State, Comrade (Hon). Daniel Ezekiel has come to empty his bowel to thank and appreciate governor Obaseki for heeding to the outcry of the riverine communities in Edo State.
Speaking at the inspection visit of the governor’s delegation, he said the Awori market which is popularly called Mile 3 market was a den of notorious kidnappers and sea pirates, under the leadership of an exiled fugitive, a kingpin for the past 15 Years, adding that the Mile 3 market was a no-go area due to criminal activities and the poor condition of the road. “It was a four hour drive from Awori Market to Udo, but now the miracle hand of governor Obaseki has marvellously turned the four hours to 30 to 40 minutes drive”, he noted.
He emphasised, “All thanks to our governor who timely intervened to the outcry and salvage the bad elements from Awori, brought a round peck in a round hole security architecture and graded the road from Udo to Inikorogha with developmental projects for economic influx to the riverine communities.
Ezekiel said the governor which he fondly called “the star-boy of good governance” has impressed the riverine communities. We cannot appreciate you enough Sir. Your Excellency, you heeded to the yearnings of the riverine people, vehemently switched into action, constructed our road, concrete Jetty is currently ongoing at Inikorogha, and Ofoniama and also mandated the local government Chairman, Engr. Edosa Enowoghomwenma to approved and carry out effective implementation in Awori market, popularly known as Mile 3 market. but, we are going to reciprocate in good measure in the forthcoming gubernatorial election, nothing will stop Asue Ighodalo from winning.The riverine communities will provide buck votes for the PDP governorship candidate.
However, he also noted that, the essence of governance, leadership is to solve societal problems and socio-economic contradictions, the star-boy of good governance had graciously demonstrated it to the riverine communities in Edo State.
“The Mile 3 market is the first registered market in the whole of the riverine communities, which is an enduring extension of the love of governor Obaseki to the riverine people.
“Lastly, I use this medium to also thank and appreciate Hon. God’stime Ogidigba, SSA to the Governor on waterways security and surveillance for being a man of vision in this manumission for the past 3 years in making sure that the riverine communities see the light of the day, and resiliently in the struggle to sustain the peace governor Obaseki had brought for us”, he added.
