Five Killed, Others Injured In Southern Kaduna

The All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain, Engr. Joseph Ciroma has in strong term condemned the attack on the people of Pasakori village in Jema’a local government area of Kaduna State by some faceless gunmen.

 

Congress gathered that five people were killed and many sustained different degrees of injury.

 

Meanwhile, speaking to newsmen, Chiroma expressed shock over the loss of lives and injuries inflicted on the people of the village by the faceless gunmen.

 

However, he called the situation an “heinous acts”, adding that the perpetrators have no place in a civilized society.

 

“Their sole intention is to suppress the progress made by the people so far in Jema’a LGA, but trusting God in rebuilding process by fostering understanding, and revitalizing the conflict-affected villages.

 

He also extends his heart felt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and pray for speedy recovery to those injured.

 

Ciroma called on the government to ensure that efforts were put in place to apprehend the perpetrators of the evil act in order to face the law of the land.

 

Another source also told our correspondent that security personnel have already been deployed to the communities to ensure the return of peace.

 

The same community was attacked by unknown gunmen in 2015 leading to the loss of lives, others injured and burning down of houses and properties worth millions.

 

The state spokesman of the Police Command, ASP Mansir Hassan did not respond to calls to react to the incident.
