The Commissioner representing Ijaw ethnic nationality on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) has commended the IPF for organizing this groundbreaking event.
Themed “Advancing the Quest for Economic/Political Freedom in a Siege Nation,” the conference aims to unite leaders and stakeholders to explore innovative solutions for the Ijaw nation and Niger Delta’s economic growth.
The Commissioner has pledged participation and support for the event, which promises to foster economic discourse and empower indigenous media professionals.
The lPF delegation led by its president and event planning committee chairman Comrade Ozobo Austin, comprises MMD Tamsokunbiri, CEO Kpakam Tv, Mr Sunday Ayemofaye, CEO Ogulagha Vanguard, Comrade Freeborn Abraye, CEO Coastal times news paper and others.
The commissioner hailed the IPF’s initiatives, describing it as a timely intervention, providing a platform for meaningful discussions on entrepreneurship, job creation, and environmental safety in the Niger Delta region.
However, with the Commissioner’s endorsement, the conference is expected to attract high-level participation from government officials, media practitioners, and stakeholders in the Ijaw nation.
This significant development underscores the IPF’s commitment to promoting economic and political development and media excellence in the Ijaw nation and Niger Delta region.
