Former Delta governorship aspirant Obule is dead

Popular leader and former governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Chief Charles Obule reportedly died on Tuesday.

This was according to an announcement by his family, adding that he died after a protracted illness at the age of 65.

Abule, reportedly hailed from Okpe Kingdom and until his death, he was the Erhi of Okpe Kingdom.

According to information, he was admitted in several best hospitals around the country but finally gave up the ghost on Tuesday.

The incident had thrown residents of the Okpe Kingdom, PDP, relatives , friends and well-wishers into a deep mourning.

Meantime, his remains had been deposited in the morgue, and burial date will be announced by the family at due course.
