FRSC Warns Personnel On Extorting Motorists

Mr Bisi Kazeem, the Federal Road Safety Corps’ Public Education Officer, has warned the corps members who are involving in extorting motorists to stop or get dismissed.
He vowed to dismiss any Road Safety Corps member from service if found extorting motorists or involved in any form of corrupt practices.
This reaction followed an allegation to a prove of some officers of the FRSC after they were caught in a suspected act of extorting motorists.
The men of FRSC officers were apprehended at Sagamu, Ogun state, and have been transferred to the command headquarters in Lagos.
Mr Bisi maintained that the corrupt members would be nabbed due to tactical surveillance set up by the Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Dauda Biu.
He stated that the report of Federal Road Safety Corps members extorting commuters were getting alarming.
However, he assured the public that the arrested corps members will be investigated and prosecuted.
