The outgoing first lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari has stated that Nigeria presidents do not need to travel abroad for medical treatments.

The first lady asserted this following the N21 billion medical center situated at the presidential villa in Abuja, the Nation’s capital.

Mrs Buhari explained that she established the idea of the medical wing in the presidential villa during the first term of the administration.

She stated that with the medical facilities in the villa, the Nigerian presidents and their family don’t need to to travel outside the country to seek for medical care.

The president’s wife maintained that she established the idea after her husband, the president of Nigeeria, Muhammadu Buhari, stayed for a long period of time abroad for medical care.
