According to report, just few days to inauguration, the outgoing governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike and his political son, Sim Fubaru have fallen apart.

It was reported that the rift followed an invitation of Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar by the governor-elect to the May 29 inauguration.

Meantime,Wike had described the action of Fubara as unacceptable for inviting his enemies.

Reacting to the rift by Wike, Fabura maintained that he would not like to inherit the enemies of the outgoing governor and would not want to start fighting political wars in his administration.

Fabura asserted that he opted for reconciliation with the party leaders both at state and national level. This had created huge crack between Nyesom Wike and the governor-elect as Wike failed to release Inauguration funds.
