Gombe State Governor Presents INEC Nomination Forms to APC Candidates, Rallies Support for 2027 Elections

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has presented Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination forms to All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates contesting the 24 State House of Assembly seats in the state, declaring the party ready for the 2027 General Elections.
A statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General (Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe, says the Governor also presented INEC acknowledgement slips to the party’s Senatorial and House of Representatives candidates who had earlier completed and submitted their nomination forms in line with the electoral guidelines.
Speaking during the presentation ceremony at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Gombe, Governor Inuwa Yahaya said the successful conclusion of the party’s primary elections and nomination process marked the beginning of a new phase focused on securing victory for the APC in the 2027 polls.
The Governor described the party’s primary elections as peaceful, transparent and credible, congratulating all the candidates on their emergence and noting that the outcomes had been accepted by the party’s national leadership.
He urged party leaders, candidates and supporters to remain united, intensify grassroots mobilisation and work together to ensure the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC Governorship Candidate, Dr. Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna, as well as all National and State Assembly candidates.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya also called on party members to showcase the achievements of the Tinubu Administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda and his administration’s developmental strides across Gombe State, saying the APC had fulfilled its campaign promises and was well-positioned to seek another mandate.
