ISIS Linked Moroccan Medical Doctor Captured By Troops In Borno

A Medical Doctor from Morocco, has been captured by troops of Operation HADIN KAI following counterterrorism operations in Borno State, after repelling a failed ISWAP attack on Cross Kauwa in Kukawa Local Government Area.

Recall that few days ago, propaganda footage retrieved from a camcorder recovered from the insurgents cameraman, showed the Moroccan as well other foreign fighters amongst the terrorists.

He was captured in a separate operation on the Lake Chad Islands in Abadam LGA by soldiers.

The suspect was subsequently airlifted by the Nigerian Air Force to a secure facility for interrogation as investigators work to uncover ISWAP’s alleged foreign support network.
