Gov’ poll: Okowa’s security aide Daniel congratulates Delta governor-elect, Oborovwori

The Senior Special Assistant to the governor of Delta state on Security matters Comrade Ezekiel Daniel has congratulated Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori over his governorship election victory at Saturday’s governorship and State House of Assembly elections in the state.

Daniel, in a statement which was sent to newsmen on Tuesday, described Oborevwori’s victory as divine intervention by God Almighty, having considered the strong opposition and anti-party activities of some members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, during the election.

He, however, urged various governorship candidates in the March 18 poll to accept the result of the election, stressing that every Deltan and other residents of the State should support Oborevwori as the Governor of Delta State to accomplish his MORE agenda.

The security aide advised the Governor-elect to run an all-inclusive government in the state for peace, and mitigation of conflict resolution irrespective of ethnic, political and or religious affiliations.
