Gunmen Abduct ex-agitator Chief Sobomabo, kill Others

High Chief Sobomabo Jackrich an ex-agitator popularly known as Egberipapa, has been abducted in his residence in Usokun, Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State, by some unknown gunmen disguised as military personnels.

Congress learnt that the ex-agitator residence was invaded around 3 a.m. on Monday, two of his lieutenants were short dead before he was abducted to an unknown destination.

Meanwhile, another disclosed that the operation was carried out by the military, adding that some army branded vehicles, including an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) were used for the invasion of Sobomabo residence.
