I am Ready To Support Tinubu’s Government ‘ – Tony Blair

Tony Blair, a former British Prime Minister has pledged his support for Nigeria’s president-elect, Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Blair asserted this when he visited the president-elect’s Defence House, in Abuja the country’s capital.

He said that he’s for global changes, and ready to partner with the Bola Tinubu administration.

The former United Kingdom prime minister maintained that since he left office, he had been working with governments across the world to them deliver on their mandates.

In a statement signed by Tinubu media aide, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, he stated that Blair Institute had a project in Nigeria and felt it was incumbent upon him to meet Nigeria’s president-elect to understand his administration’s priorities.

Blair said that he would like to help in any way with the Tinubu administration.

However, he commended Tinubu’s campaign which focused on areas of the economy, security, agriculture and power. He acknowledged the difficult task in front of the president-elect and other leaders around the world at a time of global turmoil.
