Two allegedly killed in cult clash in Delta

Two persons have been reportedly killed in a cult clash in the Orhuworun community in the Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.

The incident allegedly occurred on Wednesday afternoon when two suspected rival cult groups clashed, leading to the death of two persons in the Orhuworun community.

A source who pleaded anonymity said the area had been terrorised by suspected cult members for the past few days.

He said, “I was close to the area when the crash happened, everybody scampered for safety, but we discovered later that two persons were killed.

“But I don’t know whether those killed are cult members, I could not confirm that for now. The area is tense, and no security operatives have arrived at the scene.”

However, efforts to reach the Delta State Police command spokesman DSP Bright Edafe, for comment proved abortive.
