Ijaw Publishers Fix Election December 19

The Ijaw Publishers Forum (IPF) has announced that its general election would be held on Sunday December 19, 2023, following the inauguration of the 3-man electoral committee on Friday.

This is according to the electoral guideline released by the Electoral Committee on Tuesday.
According to the guideline signed by Arex Akemotubo – Chairman, Preye Ekpegha – Secretary, and Emmanuel Keneware – Treasurer, ‘screening of aspirants would be conducted on December 17, 2023.

The committee stated that “the list of eligible and successful candidates vying for various positions will be published December 18, 2023.”

“There will be a designated time for candidates to present their manifesto, and the date for this will be communicated in due course. “The sale of forms will begin on the December 12 and end on December 16, 2023,” they added.
