INAUGURATION: Chairman NPA Boat Drivers Union, Isaac Ozobo Appreciates Waterways Boat Drivers Association of Nig For Working Synergy

The Chairman, NPA Boat Drivers Union, Unit 1, King couple Waterfront, Warri, Delta State Comrade Isaac Ozobo has appreciated the leadership of the Waterways Boat Drivers Association of Nigeria, Delta State chapter for coming to inaugurate the unit 1 of the NPA Boat Drivers Union as Member of the Nigeria Boat Drivers Association.

Congress learnt that the inaugural event which was held in Warri 1st January, 2024 had the presence of chairman Waterways Boat Drivers Association of Nigeria, Delta state branch, Mr Tucker Emma, Member board of trustee, Mr Nicholas Tamuno Tonye, and Mr Kingsley pepe state PRO.

Others who graced the event were, Chairman NPA Boat Owners Union unit 1, Mr Stephen Dazuwo AKA Wolowolofie, Chairman NPA Boat Owners Union Outside Jetty, Vice chairman Dolphins Boat Owners Union, Mr Tony Tebela Ogbebo, Vice chairman Ogulagha Waterside Drivers Union, Chairman Dolphins Waterside Boat Drivers Union, Mr Ekpo, Vice chairman Dolphins Waterside Boat Drivers Union, Mr Amas and NPA Boat Drivers Union unit 1 executive members, Drivers, elders, friends and others.

He however, thanked all personalities and colleagues that attended the historic event for making the day colourful.

While speaking at the event, he said “In my led administration as chairman NPA Boat Drivers Union unit 1, we have registered and inaugurated as member of the Waterways Boat Drivers Association of Nigeria, Delta State Branch. We will work together as one indivisible body to improve the marine transport sector of the country.

“It is my appeal to the state chairman and all marine leaders that, they should apply King couple waterfront boat park. We are assuring them of safe driving and good characters to our
customers”, he added.

The state chairman, Mr, Tucker Emma, while speaking at the inaugural event affirmed that NPA boat drivers union is the largest, in terms of population and coverage in Delta rivers, adding that the state government recognised the boat unions and efforts are on top gear to attract some dividends to them.

The State boat chairman, however donated some life vests to NPA boat Drivers Union during the inauguration ceremony of the unit, assuring them of more gifts and support from the Delta State government.

However, the leadership of the Boat Drivers Union, Unit 1, King couple waterfront, Warri, are; Comrade Isaac Saiyafua Ozobo Chairman, Samson David,vice chairman, Godgift Oteke Asaba, secretary, Aghorowei Ebimealubo PRO, Amalade Siegbene Treasurer and Humphrey Biniwei, Financial secretary.
