INC WANTS EITHER MANAGER, OTUARO OR BRADUCE TO BE THE NEXT DELTA STATE GOVERNOR, BY DAUYEBO ANTHONY

This is the first time in the history of Delta State, from the days of Western Region, Mid-west Region and Bendel State when formidable aspirants of Izon nationality are contesting for the governorship election. The Ijaw National Congress (INC) is very pleased with it.

The likes of Sen. James E. Manager, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro and Chief Braduce Angozi are the dogged and credible Izon aspirants vying for the Delta State Governorship Election under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

They’ve demonstrated commendable psychological readiness in their unique efforts to clinch the PDP governorship ticket.

The political gallantry of these men has endeared themselves to many people within Delta State and beyond. This has made a renowned social-cultural group in a senatorial district uneasy because they want the Dennis Osadebe House at all costs.

Either of these trio (Sen. Manager, Barr. Otuaro and Chief Braduce) supported Gov. Ifeanyi A. Okowa when he contested for the Delta State Governorship PDP Primary Election and in the 2015 General Elections that he won. They understand the politics of Nigeria.

They are experienced political leaders who have the gravitas of leadership and understand the desires of Deltans. They know the taste of Deltans about growth and development. Voting one of them as the governor of Delta State, Deltans will smile because they don’t know how to disappoint.

Let’s briefly examine who these leaders are and why they always win the admiration of Deltans.

SEN. JAMES E. MANAGER

Sen. James E. Manager is a very influential politician who never tasted political defeat. An experienced politician who has been in a good relationship and active with all Delta State civilian governors to date. As the pioneer Delta State PDP Chairman and a five-time Senator at the National Assembly with the numerous offices he had held before. He is respected in Delta State and beyond. He intelligently understands the politics of Delta State. A Professor of Delta State Politics. He is a good choice for Delta State Governor.

BARR. KINGSLEY B. OTUARO

Barr. Kingsley B. Otuaro is the current Deputy Governor of Delta State. He is the first Izon politician to ever be a Deputy Governor in Delta State and Western Izon. An upright man that is very lucky and achieves his desires with ease. He has used his office, as a Deputy Governor, to promote the Government of Delta State and establish good relationships with Deltans across the three senatorial districts. We call him LIGHT because around him you see humour and joy; his presence scares away the darkness. He is a good choice for Delta State Governor.

CHIEF BRADUCE A. ANGOZI

Chief Braduce A. Angozi is a very smart politician who has been active in partisan politics for a very long time. He was Burutu Local Government Council Chairman, Delta State Commissioner for Agriculture. He has also been given an appointment at the federal level. He is a known determined fighter in the political arena. He is highly connected at both state and federal levels. He talks less but is very calculative. People call him POLITICAL POPE. Friends likened his recent calmness to a scorpion that appears to be weak at the head but can strike decisively from its tail. He is a good choice for Delta State Governor.

In my own opinion, it’s time we rallied behind the Ijaw National Congress (INC) to prevail on these our illustrious Izon leaders aspiring for the Delta State Governorship Election to step down for one of them. This is the best moment for us to actualize our dream. If we missed it at this time, only God knows when it will come to us. Such a mistake may threaten our political future. Let’s speak in one voice to actualize our dream and give credence to this quote “The Ijaws are determined and successful fighters when they are about to face political and cultural extinction.”
