The Delta State People’s Democratic Party, PDP, chairman, Barr Kingsley Esiso has cleared the air over the controversy surrounding the party’s governorship candidate following the omission of the party’s governorship candidate in the INEC recently published list.

Speaking at the PDP rally, Esiso admitted that the party does not have a governorship candidate in the state for the meantime until Oborevwori appeal against the Abuja Federal High Court ruling is concluded.

Barr Kingsley Esiso, while addressing the party’s faithful stated that INEC had assured the party that it would fix the governorship candidate of the party once the pending appeal filed by Sheriff Oborevwori is concluded.

The party’s chairman admonished members of the party to be calm despite the seeming challenges, adding the party will bounce back once the candidate had emerged from the ongoing appeal.

Stating again, his Excellency senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa said the party will win all elective positions in the state, including the presidential election, come 2023.
