Insecurity: Ezekiel writes open letter to President Tinubu, appeals for higher engagement for retired CP, Kolo Yusuf

Following the insecurity ravaging the nation, a Niger Delta Rights activist Comrade Ezekiel Daniel has send another open letter to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to consider Kolo Yusuf, retired commissioner of police
with higher engagement.

This is according a an open letter which was sent to Congress News correspondent on Sunday.

The letter reads,” First and foremost, let me say a happy birthday to our dear Nation as Nigeria clocked 63 years. I pray for wisdom and understanding for his Execllency Tinubu to pilot the affairs of the most populous black nation on earth. As an activist of over 25 years experience, who has been a guest to Police, DSS, Army and DIA and detained severally,  and who later becomes their associate by virtue of my position as aide on security matters to Delta State Governor, sir, am in a better position to advice you because l see things from deeper and wider perspective.

“His Execllency, no serious Nation throws its best brains or hands away, even where they end their career meritoriously based on the law that rules their profession, the system still bring them back, creates room for them to continue their service to motherland, e.g. U.S , BRITAIN.

“It is not only germane, but very imperative that OGA KOLO YUSUF, recently retired commissioner of police, Zamfara state is officially integrated back into the security architecture of the Nation base on his vast experience of 35 years in the field of tactical operations and administrative acumen.

“His Execllency, from my in-depth enquiry, l discovered that when talking about tactical matters, otherwise known as field operation, with due respect to other gallant officers who put their lives on the line to serve the Nation, the ONLY officer that stand close to him is Abba Kyari.

“Another thing that stood him out through out his years in the service is his uncompromising nature. No matter how highly place or wealthy  a person is,  he can’t be lobbied to twist or pervert cause of justice.
His Execllency, l witnessed this last year when Hon. Dennis Idahosa, representing Ovia Federal constituency in the House of Representatives from Edo state and a notorious charlatan parading himself as militant leader from Ondo state in collaboration with their foot soldier, now on self-exile, roguish Okubo Robert masterminded me and Hon. Godstime Ogidigba arrest to Abuja with allegation of possession of fire arms and other fallacious accusations because both of us said “NO to criminal and oppressive acts of their boy, Okubo.

“Sir, when both parties were brought before him, l saw WONDER to the point that he demanded for the KEY complainants (Okubo and Pepe) who were no where to be found, but rather sent people l called zombies to represent them.
Underhand, Idahosa, crude illiterate one Bibopere did everything practically possible to influence OGA KOLO into sending us to prison, but he firmly rejected their Greek gifts. When the complainants and their sponsors discovered he is not ready to sell justice, they asked for the transfer of the case to another unit, IRT ,where they bragged that their bidding will be done, again , OGA KOLO refused.

“His Execllency, his exploit in given Nigerian police force good image, and fighting crime to stand still is LEGENDARY, such a man should not be left fallow, but rather higher responsibility should be cave out for him, which l believe IGP Daddy  Egbetokun and Police service commission chairman, Daddy Solomon Arase can do with your support because with current security challenge your government is facing, he is needed to play a key role in eradicating the menace”.
