The Ijaw People’s Development Initiative, IPDI, has threatened to report the governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki to High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias, Tompolo and Egbesu war deity over maltreatment and exclusion of Ijaws in the appointment of commissioners in the state.

This was contained in a press statement signed by its National president, Comrade Ozobo Austin on Monday.

The group said Obaseki would be reported to Ijaw deities and Tompolo for further actions, adding it was time to take what belong to Ijaw of Edo State by force.

‘It is sad, our son Comrade Daniel Ezekiel and others mobilize resources to ensure the winning of Obaseki in all Ijaw Communities. Despite the APC prominence in the Ijaw Communities, people work hard to make him win’, IPDI asserted.

“It is time to go spiritual and seek the face of God for the total Liberation of Ijaws in Edo state, whether to continue to be lawful or not. Because we have decided to reject modern slavery in its entirety.

‘We will report Obaseki to Tompolo and Egbesu deity for appropriate action and insight about the war of emancipation of Ijaws of Edo State in the coming days. We have been patient enough. Our patience has now been taken for cowardice. It now time to tell Obaseki and his monarch that we can bark and bit.

‘Obaseki will be given equal trouble for punishing Ijaw people in Edo State. It is biblical that there is no peace for the wicked. It is also be noted that injustice begat anarchy. He should be ready to face the impending storm, the group asserted.
