IYC Poll: Ebolo Consults Alapala, Bounana-owei, Seeks For Blessings

Following the upcoming Ijaw Youth Council, IYC Western zone election, Comrade Samuel Ebolo, the vice Chairmanship Aspirant of Western Zone with his brave campaign team has consulted Hon. Alapala Ebitonmo, alias Odumalagba, the minority leader in the Delta State House of Assembly in his residence at Orhuwhorun town, and further visited General Godday Smith, popularly known as Bounana-owei, the King of the Forest at his Paradisco residence in Enerhen along Warri Sapele road on Thursday.

Ebolo who was flanked by his campaign team and other personalities was given a warm welcome by the Minority Leader, Alapala.

The Minority Leader, however affirmed his unwavering support for Ebolo’s ambition and rained prayers of blessing on him and his team.

Congress learnt that General Godday Smith (aka Bounana-owei, the King of the Forest) a conundrum in the making and a great factor in the Ijaw struggle who had a forestry mandate to leverage and influence State and National policies in favour of the Ijaw Nation had also thrown his weight behind Ebolo’s ambition.

Meantime, the IYC vice chairman aspirant, Ebolo and his team were warmly received by Godday Smith, alias, King of the forest during the visit.

Speaking during the visit, Bounana-owei, affirmed that Ebolo being a younger brother in the IYC business had done well and with his declaratory speech before him he would support him.

Bounana-owei was quoted, “I Agadagba lll, will support you in your aspiration to become the vice Chairman of IYC Western Zone”.

Meantime, he prayed and called in evocation the gods of the forest to go before Ebolo with his Ijaw spirited team to win the election and also wished him every good thing he would wish himself in life.

He also urged Ebolo to be in good spirits to go round and consult all IYC Western Zone Stakeholders for his dynamic ambition.
