IYC Western Zone Poll: Ebolo Declares For Vice Chairman, Picks Interest Form

The immediate past Chairman of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Ngbilebiri kingdom, Comrade Samuel Ebolo has officially declared interest in the contest for the vice chairman position of council in Western Zone.

Ebolo’s declaration was followed by the inauguration of his campaign team at PTI conference hall which is led by Comrade Odens Okaba as the DG of the Campaign and Comrade Bangi Selekekeme, Media Director.

Others included Comrade Isaac Elegha, Comrade Brisibe Oruye, Comrade Patrick Egberike, Comrade Timipre Ndoni, Comrade ThankGod Fineman.

However, Ebolo further proceeded with his campaign team to purchase the interest and nomination form from ZECO at Eliko Hotel on Thursday.

Speaking at the declaration, he said, “I was the former Special Assistant to Barr Oweilaemi Pereotubo led IYC, in my capacity I worked towards the growth of the region selflessly.

“I was also nominated by leaders unanimously from the Western Zone as special aide to Comrade Peter Igbifa led IYC administration where I also worked meritoriously in advancing the struggle of the Ijaw nation.

“I was elected as Chairman Ngbilebiri clan in 2021 and also elected as a chairman of Clan chairmen Forum in western zone by the special grace of God and since then I have been working as a team with my Excos and our achievements are a testament for me to seek for a bigger task.

“Those who have gone ahead of us have revolutionised our nation’s economy, transformed National politic and I will most significantly if given the mandate of the Western Vice Chairmanship position will do wonderful things if not all for the benefit of the IYC and the entire Ijaw Nation”, he added.
