JUST IN: Bandits Kill 7 Policemen, 4 Civilians in Magarya Zamfara

The Magarya community in Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State was attacked by armed bandits which led to the killing of some police and civilian citizens.

Congress news learnt that seven mobile police men and four civilians were killed. Three cars, one belonging to the district head of Magarya, who is also the brother of the immediate pass speaker of Zamfara State House of Assembly, Nasir Magarya, were also damaged.

It was also gathered that the chairs in the seating room of the Nasir Magarya house were burned to ashes.

According to a resident of the area, Ahmad Umar, Magarya Model Primary School were also set on fire and many people sustained various degrees of injuries.

The State Police Command’s spokesman, ASP Yazid Abubakar, could not be reached at the time of filing this report.
