Tension in the peaceful Port Harcourt city of Rivers State following the alleged wanted declaration of a governorship aspirant Farah Dagogo over alleged PDP Secretariat invasion.

Congress gathered that the governor of the state Nyesom Ezenwo made the wanted declaration on Wednesday.

However, Farah Dagogo was accused of hiring cultists to attack the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat in Port Harcourt to disorganize screening of aspirants for various elective positions in the state.

Meantime, Dagogo represents the Bonny-Degema federal constituency in the House of Representatives.

According to news report, the  governor had directed the Rivers State Police Command to arrest Farah Dagogo for hiring cultists to attack the PDP secretariat to disrupt the screening of aspirants for various elective positions.

The statement was contained in a brief by the Special Assistant on Media to the Governor of Rivers State, Mr Kelvin Ebiri.
He further stated: “The Police must as a matter of urgency arrest Farah Dagogo, wherever he is, and must be made to face prosecution.”

“Already, some of the hoodlums hired by Farah Dagogo have been arrested and will be made to face the full wrath of the law.”
