JUST IN: Franklin Miebi wins YPP Delta South senatorial ticket

The Young Progressives Party, YPP, has declared Engr Franklin Miebi Garry winner of the Delta South Senatorial districts ticket in the just concluded primary elections of the party.

It was learnt the Young Progressives Party, YPP, held successful House of Representatives and Senate Primaries in Delta State on Friday June 3, 2022.

Engr Miebi Garry clinched the Delta South Senatorial ticket in the party’s primaries held at Rice Farms along Esisi Road, Warri, Delta state.

It was gathered that Miebi Garry was the party’s sole aspirant for the Delta South Senatorial race and was adopted by the whole delegates of the party.

Speaking to journalists, Miebi Garry thanked the party’s leadership and the delegates for voting him massively, noting that he will defeat other candidates participating in the senatorial contest in the 2023 general elections.

He told Congress Correspondent that with the help of God and the teaming support from the Party and electorates, he will win Delta South Senatorial polls come 2023, adding that he would provide effective representation in the Delta South senatorial district.
