JUST IN: INEC Declares APC’s Oyebanji Winner of Ekiti Gubernatorial Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has decalred Biodun Oyebanji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the governorship election held in the state on Saturday, Jun 20..
According to the electoral body, the governor polled a total of 319,224 votes to defeat his closest rival, Wole Oluyede of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 40,543 votes.
The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Oluwadare Bejide, came third in the race with a total of 12,872 votes.
