Just In: Midnight downpour submerges Port-Harcourt

Port-harcourt streets have been submerged by midnight downpour, destroying properties worth millions of naira on Tuesday.

Congress gathered that Rumola and worri and Afam Odili roads in Port-harcourt were ravaged by excessive downpour on Tuesday.

Source said several houses and vehicles were submerged, causing serious panic and dissaffections.

The source said commercial activities were paralysed as movements were restricted.

However, the residents have called on the Government of the state to construct good drainage systems to curb the flooding menace in the state.
