Just in: Waterman missing in Udu River

Pandemonium in Udu local government area of Delta state on Tuesday as yet to be identified timber waterman got missing in Udu River.

The incident occurred when waterman who was in charge of arranging logs in Udu River dived in and never surface on Tuesday afternoon.

A source said the timber-man lost axe in the Udu river and eventually jumped down to recover it but unfortunately got missing uptill this moment.

However, local divers are yet to be invited for a search of the corpse at press time.
