Just ln: 3 killed, 4 injured as 21-storey building collapses in Lagos

About three persons have been killed and four declared seriously injured as 21-storey building collapses in Lagos at Gerrard Road, Ikoyi.

The Lagos Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu has confirmed the incident.

According to the Odumosu, three persons have been confirmed dead while three others were injured in the fatal eruptions, adding that rescue efforts were still on to get others trapped alive.The police commissioner, appealed to members of the public to exercise caution and allow the rescue workers to concentrate on their job.

“We do not want to lose more lives; the rescue workers are working carefully to rescue those still trapped in the building. Let’s give them some space to allow them do diligent work,” he added.
