Kaduna Governor urges corps members To Accept posting in good faith

The National Youth Service Corps has deployed 2,615 Batch B (Stream II) corps members to rural areas in Kaduna State, immediately after they concluded their 21-day orientation camp training in the state.
Meanwhile, the State governor, Senator Uba Sani, on Tuesday congratulated the corp members on their successful orientation celebration held at the temporary orientation camp, government college kaduna
He said, “I urge you all to accept your posting in good faith, settle down quickly, and respect the customs and traditions of your host communities,” he said.
The state Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development, Hajiya Rabi Salizu, who represented the governor stressed the importance of dedication, professionalism, and a spirit of service as they carry out their primary assignments.
However, he also admonished and assured them that the state government was committed to providing the necessary support to ensure a productive and rewarding service year in the state.
“Your role is very important in facilitating national unity and development, adding that the NYSC State Coordinator Mr. Hassan Mahmud Taura commended the corps members for their great performance in orientation course.
“I urge you to engage in Community Development Service programmes that will make a positively remark in your host communities and also strive to build Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship training you,” Taura said.
Taura also reminded the corps members to shun social vices like corruption, nepotism, tribalism, and religious bigotry.
“Your service is not just about personal growth, but also about contributing to the sustainable development of our great nation,” he added
