Kano Crisis: Governor Yusuf, NSA Ribadu Hold Talks

Amidst the ongoing emirate succession crisis in Kano, Governor Abba Yusuf met with National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu at his office on Thursday.

This courtesy call comes just days before Deputy Governor Aminu Gwarzo accused Ribadu of facilitating the return of deposed Emir Ado Bayero to the palace by providing him with two private jets.

The meeting between Governor Yusuf and NSA Ribadu is seen as a significant development in the ongoing “game of thrones” in the ancient city.
