KAPECOM condoles with Families of Military Bomb attack, calls for calm

The Kaduna State Peace Commission, (KAPECOM ) has expressed its condolence to the entire families of the Military Bomb attack at Tudun Biri Village in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna state.

Addressing a Press conference in Kaduna, the Executive Vice chairman of the commission, Dr, Sale B. Momale said “The Kaduna State Peace Commission extends her deepest sympathy to the affected families.

“The commission is passionately appealing for calm at this trying moment, all citizens are enjoined to provide necessary support and assistance to the affected communities. Let us collectively assist those in need at the hospitals and pray for the repose of the souls of the departed.

“The community and religious leaders should cooperate with civil society organizations spirited individuals and the media and are enjoined to support the government in the maintenance of peace, law and order at all times.

“There are ongoing efforts by the state government to provide the best medical care to the injured citizens are reassured of the unwavering commitment of the government in taking all necessary steps and action to support the communities.”

He further explained that the government would continuously update the people of the state and work with the leadership of the affected communities and families in providing counselling, relief and other forms of assistance to ameliorate the pains and suffering that arose from this tragedy.

Dr, Momale maintained that “The Kaduna State government will engage with the Nigerian Armed Forces to review the circumstances that led to this tactical error, initiate mechanisms for redress and to prevent similar recurrence.”
