Kebbi: Mass Burial For Mera Community Residents

The Augie Local Government Area of Kebbi State, North-West Nigeria has witnessed mass burial for 15 residents killed by a new terrorist group, Lakurawa on Mera Community.
Meanwhile, The Deputy Governor, Umar Tafida and Commissioner of Police who led other security chiefs, and Emir of Argungu HRH Isma’ila Mera to witness the mass burial.
Tafida offered condolences and support to the deceased families, adding that the State Governor stands with them and will work closely with security agencies to avoid further incidents.
The Emir of Argungu on his part encouraged unity and resilience. He called on security officers to strengthen efforts to ensure community safety.
The funeral prayer included prayers for peace and for the repose of the souls of the deceased, with a determination to strengthen regional security and stability.
The government further reassured citizens of ongoing efforts to protect lives and circumvent future tragedies.
