Kiagbodo beats Omolo 3-2 in Evah’s Tournament opening match

In an exciting opening match of the Evah Tournament, in collaboration with the Ngbilebiri-mein Kingdom Ijaw Youth Council, led by Comrade Debasuode Selekowei, Kiagbodo community emerged victorious with a 3-2 win over the Omolo community. The tournament was put up by the super Comrade Joseph Evah, the national coordinator of the Ijaw Monitoring Group, IMG, in commemoration of the final passage rites of HRM Pere Bigborogha II, in Kiagbodo, the traditional headquarters of the kingdom.

The thrilling encounter showcased the skills and determination of both teams, with Kiagbodo ultimately claiming the win.

The match was a closely contested affair, with both sides displaying impressive football prowess. However, Kiagbodo’s superior strategy and teamwork ultimately paid off, as they secured the narrow victory.

The win marks a strong start for Kiagbodo in the tournament, and they will look to build on this momentum in their upcoming matches. Meanwhile, Omolo will aim to regroup and bounce back from the defeat.
