Kidnapper Kills Gang Member In an Attempt To Kill Victim

A kidnapper has shot dead one of his gang members during an attempt to kill a kidnapped victim.

According to report, Idris Abdullahi, Tukur Yusuf and Ilyasu Aminu was arrested by the men of Kano state Police Command during an attempt to kidnap a man and his son.

The incident happened at Yarimawa village, Tofa Local Government of Kano State.

It was reported that one of the kidnappers tried to kill the son of the man who was kidnapped, but the son resisted which led to scuffle, one of the kidnappers in an attempt to kill him, shot their gang member instead and gave up the ghost immediately.

The incident was affirmed by Muhammed Usaini Gumel, the State Commissioner of Police, who stated that the kidnappers went to the home of Nasiru Yayaya in an attempt to kidnap him and his Son.

The commissioner narrated that a report was received that armed gunmen invade the residence of Nasiru Yayaya and tried to kidnap him and his son, in the process the son resisted.

He affirmed that in an attempt to shoot the son, they shot their colleague, identified as Umar Abdullahi, who died immediately.

The Commissioner added that in an attempt to whisk away the son, they shot two villagers on their legs who came to offer assistance.

However, the victims were rushed to Tofa General Hospital and they were treated and discharged.
