As the off-cycle governorship decisions in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi are slated for November 11, the Free Public Electing Commission has said it would on October 14 lead mock certification in the states, utilizing the Bimodal Elector Authorization Framework (BVAS), National Magistrate and Administrator, Data and Citizen Schooling Panel.

Sam Olumekun, who revealed this in an explanation yesterday, said the activity would be held across all 27 surveying units, three in each senatorial region.

While engaging enlisted citizens to turn up with their extremely durable Elector Cards (PVCs), he explained that the interaction is a “test certification workout and not the real political decision.”

His words: “The Bonus met today, Monday, September 25, 2023, and, among different issues, explored the arrangements for the impending off-cycle governorship decisions in Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi states planned for Saturday, November 11, 2023.

“Just like the case in late off-cycle governorship decisions, the Commission will direct a false certification, utilizing the BVAS and transfer surveying unit results to the INEC Result Review Entryway (IReV). The trial will occur at the same time in the three states on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.”

A limit of three surveying units in each senatorial locale has been recognized across every one of the three states, covering a sum of nine senatorial regions and 27 surveying units.

Examples gained from the activity will be thought about in guaranteeing a consistent cycle on the Final voting day.

“All relevant information of the surveying units, including their areas by Nearby Government Region (LGA), Enlistment Region (RA)/Ward, Delimitation Code, and several enrolled citizens have been transferred to our site and virtual entertainment stages.”
