Female aspirants on the platform of the labour party may have nothing to worry about as the national working committee is ready to give them more chances in the 2027 general election

While playing host to the african faith and justice network women empowerment programme, national chairman of the party, Senator Nenadi Usman expressed confidence in the ability of women to effectively manage resources and ensure good governance at all levels.

She is optimistic that as political parties go into primaries more women will take key roles in the political terrain that is largely dominated by men but urged the women to first show commitment to good leadership in order to make impact in the society.

The african faith and justice network women empowerment programme says more women in governance will create greater chances for equity, equality and justice with even distribution of resources.
