LG Poll: Ozobo appeals to Oborewori, PDP leaders, delegates to consider him as next Burutu council chairman, promises to turn things for better

A leading Burutu LGA chairmanship aspirant, Comrade Ozobo Austin has appealed to Delta State governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborewori and PDP leaders in Burutu Local Government Area to consider him as the next Burutu council chairman, adding that he will turnaround things in the Burutu council area when elected.

This was contained in a statement he signed and issued by himself which a copy was sent to newsmen in Warri on Wednesday.

He said Burutu needs him to provide equal development, empowerment and social services to every citizen in the council area.

“I am the only aspirant with a genuine mindset to revamp and transform Burutu LGA for now, this is a fact many Burutu stakeholders are aware of.

“I will address issues affecting rural education, health care, security, water, light, welfare, women and youth empowerment.

“I will ensure that Burutu Area Commander resides in Burutu, the headquarters of Burutu LGA.

“I have shown capacity over the years with diligent service to the party. Burutu needs a God-fearing individual to be entrusted with the wealth of Burutu. We need to move forward as a people. Our women deserve the best service, our youths deserve the best service, our fathers and mothers deserve the best service.

“We have taken Burutu to a level where our next generation and unborn children will be disappointed, except something drastic is done now. Burutu has fallen from its glory and from the original plans of the founding fathers. Hence, I am coming to advance the More Agenda of our governor and provide people-oriented services to every citizen, children, youth, women, old and leaders.

“I strongly believe that our leaders will get it right in this upcoming PDP party primaries. This is a litmus test, it is an opportunity for us to decide whether to move forward or not as a people.

“I appeal to Burutu PDP leaders and stakeholders to vote for me in the party primaries which come a few days from now.

“I promise to make our people proud by giving Burutu accelerated development, transformation and among others”.
