Following the just concluded local Government congresses of the All Progressives Congress, APC the local Government appeal committee for Delta State has been inaugurated and mandated to receive petitions and complaints arising from the local government congress held on Saturday September 4, 2021.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the Appeal Committee, Chief Adeniyi Akintola SAN and Secretary Hon. Bamidele Ajibola which sent to reporters on Saturday.
The committee urged members who were aspirants or candidates in the said Congress should submit their petitions and complaints to the local Government Appeal Committee from Monday September 20 to Friday September 24, 2021 between the hours of 9am to 5pm daily within the period.
According to the statement petitions and complaints should be submitted at the APC Secretariat plot 4, Anwai Illah Road GRA phase 1 core Area, Asaba Delta State.
The statement reads: “Party members who intend to appeal the outcome of the Local Government Congress are enjoined to ensure that petitions and complaints are submitted within the specified period of time”.
