Mamudo Sa’idu: The NYSC clarifies the circumstances behind the corps member’s passing

A social media rumour that a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member was murdered by bandits while travelling from Kaduna to Katsina for his monthly biometric clearance has been refuted by the organization’s management.

The scheme claimed in a statement signed by Eddy Megwa, Director of Press and Public Relations, that all signs pointed to the story’s falsity and that its only intention was to incite needless agitation among the populace.

According to the statement, Mamudo Sa’idu Obaje, KT/23B/1153, the aforementioned corps member, was employed by Government Girls’ College in Katsina.
