Man and girlfriend killed by generator fumes in Delta

In Delta State’s Uvwie Local Government Area, in the Ugborikoko Community, a guy and his girlfriend passed away.

Before they passed away in the few hours of Monday morning, the man had joined his girlfriend in a nightclub to celebrate her birthday.

It was discovered that the deceased went to the woman’s shop and put on the generating set inside before going to bed after leaving the club.

They passed away before dawn of the day.

In a phone conversation with our correspondent in Warri on Tuesday morning, DSP Bright Edafe, the public relations officer for the Delta State Police, verified the claim.

In the meantime, many who sympathized with the deceased denounced them for hurting their families at Christmas.

Some suggested that their opponents might be manipulating them evilly.
