The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, has announced that the military and security agencies are tracking individuals fueling calls for regime change through undemocratic means. He warned that those demanding a change of government through unconstitutional ways would face appropriate action.

Musa emphasised that the military is committed to protecting Nigeria and its democracy, and will not tolerate any attempts to subvert the nation. He called for inter-agency collaboration to promote peace, order, unity, and growth of democracy.

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, also expressed determination to deploy troops to enforce law and order, while the Chief of Naval Staff and Chief of Air Staff highlighted their services’ contributions to maintaining peace and security.

The military and security chiefs are working together to support the President’s mandate for peace and tranquility in Nigeria, and have warned that they will take decisive action against those threatening the country’s stability.
