N-Delta ex-militant groups condemn call for removal of NCDMB Boss, Engr. Wabote

•Say those against Wabote are anti-Niger Delta

A coalition of Ex-Agitators and Peace advocate groups from the Nine Niger Delta states have faulted calls for the removal of the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content, Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Engr. Simbi Wabote over his decision to file a libel suit against persons out to tarnish his image and person.

According to the group, instead of commending Engr. Simbi Wabote for working hard tirelessly to train most of the teaming youths in the region, “As we speak Engr Simbi Wabote has approved the training of over 100 youths drawn from 50 Niger Delta Communities who are now undergoing training on MARINE BOAT OPERATORS for Human Capacity Development as Qualified Marine Boat operators at JOEMARINE INSTITUTE in Warri Delta State through Local Content Development Board and therefore Mr. Simbi Wabote should be commended for working hard to transform our youths in the creek and for towing the line of
rule of law to seek redress in court for character assassination and false allegations to damage his image he should be commended, the decision of some persons sponsored to call for his sack is wicked callous, criminal and a deliberate attempt to arm twist him for extortion of millions of dollars”.

Congress recalled that the Concerned Niger Delta Youth Forum (CNYF), had at the weekend called on President Muhammadu Buhari to sack the the Executive Secretary Nigeria content Development and Monitoring Board NCDMB Simbi Kesiye Wabote over alleged Perjury and Corruption.

The group also demanded that the Executive Secretary, Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Simbi Kesiye Wabote, step aside for a thorough investigation of allegations of corruption against him within 14 days.

But the coalition of Ex-Agitators and Peace Advocate Groups, in a statement issued via electronic mail which was signed by the National Coordinator, NIGER DELTA ADVOCATE FOR PEACE AND GOOD GOVERNANCE, GEN. FIAWEI PATHFINDER , alongside the Coordinator of CONCERNED EX-MILITANT SUPPORT GROUP FOR PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI, Led by GEN. PERES AYAMA, COMRADE BEKES APERE ,Deputy National Coordinator NIGER DELTA ADVOCATE FOR PEACE AND GOOD GOVERNANCE GROUP and COMRADE KINGSLEY TAMARAMIENYE, had Condemned in strong terms those behind the calls for the removal of the NCDMB boss, declaring the total confidence the people of the region repose in Engr. Wabote as a proud son of Ijaw Nation and one of the shining light of the region, the statement went further “we have written to President Muhammadu Buhari and drawing his attention to the rising attempt by some disgruntled criminal elements trying to rubbish his administration by several attempt to blackmail one of his appointees who is performing very well in its position as one of the best hands, Engr. Simbi Wabote.”

According to the group, “We have notified President Buhari who is the Commander in chief, of the attempt by some mischief makers and blackmailers whose stock in trade is to cook up unfounded stories in other to frame up Political appointees serving in the ruling All Progressive Congress party led Federal Government with scandalous false allegations with no proof so as to extort millions of dollars from public office holders serving under Mr. President Administration. This is the true story of one Jackson Ude, who claimed to be a journalist, but adopt this kind of fake, malicious and nefarious techniques with his ally who are known as disgruntled criminally corrupt minded personalities in the region to dent public office holders and bring them down in other to syphon millions into their pockets.

“The group said they are not surprised that the same men have started to cook up unfounded, purported cheap blackmails and series of fake documents flying all over everywhere on the social media in the internet for a bribe allegation from a foreign oil company called SAIPEN and now they have made it the turn of Engr. Simbi Wabote which they claim that he is operating a foreign account in the United States of America”‘ is a big lie from the pit of hell and we want to quickly inform those who are behind the downfall of Simbi Wabote that they should know that the tide has changed where they will get away with such SCRUPULOUS, UNFOUNDED, MISCHIEVOUS FRIVOLOUS and,PURPORTED CHEAP BLACKMAILS TO MAKE MONEY FROM PUBLIC OFFICE HOLDERS IS in the past.

“As far as we the leadership of Niger Delta Advocate for Peace and Good Governance group with the Coalition of ex-agitators and stakeholders from the region are concerned, the actions of Ude and his cohorts are unfounded, mischievous, frivolous, cooked and doctored false allegations of perjury or whatever issues are all laughable and can not hold water, this are the handi-work of mischief makers and enemy of progress who’s business is to blackmail, sabotage and to infuse bad blood within the NCDMB, the Oil and Gas industry and the Presidency in order to give bad name to the good works of someone like Engr. Simbi Wabote have achieved so far all this years as the executive secretary of the Local Content Development Board”.

“We also want to use this medium to warn seriously and call on Mr Timi Frank, who is a PDP apologist hiding in the country of United Arab Emirate, UAE and on the watch list of law enforcement agencies in Nigeria due to sins committed against the laws of the land, to keep quiet and stay clear from jumping into conclusion of matters that are in court. And we make bold to state that Engr. Simbi Wabote does not have anything to hide like his corrupt failed Chieftains of his party who drain this country to zero without saving for the rainy days and refuse to invest in critical infrastructural developmental projects in the Niger Delta region in the 16 miserable years of rule.”wish in turn led to the under Development of the Niger Delta region.

“And at this juncture we want to advice Timi Frank to stay clear from attacking Engr. Simbi Wabote and stop mailing him and drag his name to the mud with such unfounded, frivolous, mischievous cheap blackmails and jumping into conclusion for a case that is in court, and we condemned in totality for those miscreants disgruntled elements of misguided youth groups that is non-existent fellows of persons to keep silent and hide their face in shame and that their co-sponsors identity will be unveiled and the law will soon catch up with them all whose youth group is named Concerned Niger Delta Youth forum headed by one Mr. John Ebitari and the so called Secretary of the group, Mr. Oweikeye Preye to refrain their careless press statements and desist from such diminishing outrageous inhuman actions, or we will be forced to declare war against them and smoke them out from their hiding places in the region”.
