Okowa’s aide, Ozobo bags global ambassadorial award

The multiple award wining Niger Delta rights activist and Special Assistant to the governor of Delta state on political matters, Comrade Ozobo Austin has bagged an honorary global ambassadorial award on Friday.

The event which was organized by Mayorkings agency in Bon hotel in Warri, Delta state found Comrade Ozobo worthy to have conferred on him the honorary global peace ambassadorial award.

In presenting the award, the organizers said Ozobo had done well in the areas of advocacy for the defense of human rights, justice for the oppressed and campaign for communal development across Africa continent.

While speaking, Ozobo dedicated his honorary ambassadorial award to all true human rights activists all-over Nigeria and the media for standing against injustice and oppression in the country.

He however, expressed gratitude to the organizers of the event for deeming it fit to conferred on him this global honorary award, adding that the award would encourage and strengthen him to do more in his advocation for justice and rights protection across the globe.

Ozobo further noted that to advocate against injustice and oppression were difficult tasks in Africa, adding that this would further strengthened him and others to do more for the society.
