Niger Delta converges as Tompolo’s nephew Godfrey Pondi marries in Warri

Niger Delta has converged to celebrate the marriage ceremony of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, nephew as he married his bride miss Ikpuri Kevwe in the heart of Warri city Delta state.

The event which was held in the popular event centre, KFT in Warri, Delta state was jam-packed with dignitaries and guests.

Some top personalities who graced the event were the governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency senator Douye Diri, His Excellency Barr Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, the deputy governor of Delta state, Rt. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu federal constituency, Chief Tunde Smooth, the Bolowei of Obotebe Kingdom, Chief Boro Opudu, the chairman Delta state water/land security committee, Chief Kestin Pond, elder brother of the groom, Dr Shedrack Agediga, executive director of Desopadec, Hon. Angele Godknows, the chairman Burutu LGA, Barr Eric Omare , former IYC president, Comrade Ozobo Austin, Special Assistant to the governor of Delta state and others too numerous to mention.

The event was full of merriment. Guests and dignitaries were fully thrilled and entertained.

The marriage which turned carnival was described as the marriage of the year in the whole of Delta state.
